Ads By Jojo is an adware threat that may claim to help PC users save time and money while they are shopping on the Internet on online shopping related websites. Ads By Jojo may spread and insert itself into the computer system through packaged free applications that PC users can download from unreliable download websites. Ads By Jojo may be downloaded and installed on the computer as an additional application packaged with free software. Ads By Jojo may show random pop-up advertisements labelled as 'Ads By Jojo' and banners including offers, deals, and discount coupons, or the ones linked to the computer user's Internet surfing habits. Ads By Jojo may hijack any Web browser installed on the PC and make changes to the default browser settings. Ads By Jojo may also modify the default start page and search service or a new tab window with a questionable website that was produced to possibly benefit from ad clicks and increased web traffic. Ads By Jojo may display a pop-up window 'A Media Player 12.3 update is Required to view this content', and if the PC user clicks the 'Update' button in the notification, he may allow to download and install other computer infections.
