5starCoupon is adware that declares to improve computer users' online shopping activity. Once installed on a PC, 5starCoupon may display annoying pop-up ads, banners and messages containing a variety of discount coupons, deals and offers, or the ones pertaining to the PC user's web browsing routine on a computer. The pop-up advertisemenys and messages of 5starCoupon may emerge if this adware discovers that the computer user is browsing shopping-related websites. Therefore, some PC users may think that the pop-up ads and banners belong to the website they are visiting. If the computer user clicks on any of the pop-up messages, banners or advertisements delivered by 5starCoupon, he may get continuosuly diverted to suspicious websites that may be designed for comercial purposes to possibly make money from from raised traffic and clicks on ads.
