"486 Privacy Violations Found" pop-up is a fake warning message displayed on a user's computer thanks to the rogue anti-spyware program PCPrivacyDefender. This "486 Privacy Violations Found" pop-up reads as follows:

"WARNING! 486 Privacy Violations Found. PCPrivacyDefender found 486 Privacy Violations on your computer the last time you performed a system clean which require immediate cleaning! These Privacy Violations may cause: Privacy Invasion; Sensitive Data Theft; Personal Security Risks; Identity Theft Risks; Embarrassing activities. To clean these Privacy Violations you must register PCPrivacyDefender. To do so, click on the Repair Now! button below."

This message is displayed in order to scare the user into purchasing and installing the commercial version of PCPrivacyDefender; an application that will neither protect nor repair your system.
