Trojan.DNS_Changer is a rootkit TDSS and redirect virus which steals confidential data and redirects the infected users to criminal websites. Trojan.DNS_Changer changes the network DNS settings in the Control Panel and in the computer registry. Trojan.DNS_Changer is caused by downloading and installing a bogus multimedia codec from illegal websites. Trojan.DNS_Changer also downloads additional components before the attackers obtain remote access to the corrupted PC. It is recommended to remove Trojan.DNS_Changer immediately on detection from your computer as it is a security risk to your system.
