Superfish Window Shopper is an potentially unwanted program that will display its own advertisements on Wallmart, eBay, Best Buy, and other websites usually visited by Internet users. These advertisements will be shown as boxes that include numerous coupons that are available or as underlined keywords, which when clicked will illustrate an advertisement that claims it is brought to the computer user by Superfish Window Shopper. Superfish Window Shopper is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer, that is usually installed when the PC user installs other free software products. When the PC user installs these free software products, he/she will also install Superfish Window Shopper. Some of the applications that are known to come bundled with Superfish Window Shopper involve Yontoo, FBPhotoZoom, and 1ClickDownload. Once Superfish Window Shopper is installed, it will illustrate an icon 'See Similar' next to product images on various shopping websites. Superfish Window Shopper may also deliver coupons, deals, and/or other services on related product websites. Sometimes, by clicking on a delivered offer, the computer user will be diverted to the partner's, otherwise known as advertiser's, website via affiliate cookies.
