The Pdfforge Toolbar is a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) that takes the form of a Web browser toolbar. Typically, the Pdfforge Toolbar is bundled with freeware or shareware. The Pdfforge Toolbar is used to generate advertisement revenue. Once the Pdfforge Toolbar is installed on a computer the Pdfforge Toolbar changes the affected Web browser's homepage and default search engine. Typically, components like the Pdfforge Toolbar are used to display advertisements and increase certain websites' traffic in order to increase marketing and revenue. This is often done by causing irritating symptoms on the affected computer.
