Dynamic Pricer is a potentially unwanted program (PUP)/adware that may be installed onto a computer system as an extra application through various bundled free software that PC users download from unreliable download websites. Dynamic Pricer may also be installed on the computer system without a PC user's permission. The creators of Dynamic Pricer may also use the pay-per-install technique to spread and install this adware threat on the PC. The pay-per-install method may be used to spread not only Dynamic Pricer itself but also disperse other security threats such as unwanted toolbars, add-ons, plug-ins, adware and browser hijackers. Once installed, Dynamic Pricer may change the default browser settings on the computer and show annoying pop-up ads and messages with the purpose to possibly generate advertising income from clicks on ads. Dynamic Pricer may repeatedly reroute PC users to suspicious websites and, therefore, boost web traffic of affiliated websites that may advertise a variety of services and products.
