Coupon Matcher is an adware application that shows pop-up advertisements, offers, coupons, and sponsored links via a pop-up box on Amazon, Walmart, Ebay and other shopping websites that are visited by PC users. Coupon Matcher pop-up advertisements will be shown as boxes, which involve numerous coupons that are available or as underlined keywords, which when clicked will deliver a pop-up advertisement that claims it is sent to an attacked PC user by Coupon Matcher. Coupon Matcher is an add-on for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome that is usually embedded when the web user installs other free software products, such as video recording/streaming, download managers or PDF creators, that had packaged into their installation Coupon Matcher. When the web user installs these free software products, they will also install Coupon Matcher. When installed on the victimized computer, whenever the PC user will visit Best Buy, Expedia, Facebook or any other similar websites, Coupon Matcher will illustrate a 'See Similar' button on product images, which when clicked will show pop-up advertisements by Coupon Matcher. Coupon Matcher may also show advertising banners on the websites visited by PC users, and as they browse the web, Coupon Matcher will display coupons and other deals available on various websites.
