EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

The CatHomepage is created and governed by Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc, which is known to deploy ad-supported extensions on a daily basis. There is nothing wrong with monetizing your work, but when you attempt to lure users into buying goods from less-reputable online shops, this may not be perceived well by most users. The Mindspwarks product CatHomepage is aimed at cat lovers around the world and is advertised to allow users to set an image of a cat as their browser wallpaper. Users that install the CatHomepage browser extension can benefit from a rich gallery of grumpy, cute, funny, annoyed, and fabulous cats to set as their start page wallpaper. The CatHomepage extension might appear in your Add-ons Manager under the name CatHomepage by MyWay and may make several modifications to your Internet settings.
Fans of cats were euphoric to try out the CatHomepage add-on but were not pleased with its behavior. When installed, the CatHomepage application may take over the users' new tab page, default search provider and start page without providing the option to opt out of features they don't want to use. The CatHomepage app may change the user's homepage to Hp.myway.com/cathomepage/ttab02/index.html, which hosts most of the attractive features of the CatHomepage app. However, the add-on may appear as an icon on your browser's interface, and alter your new tab page design as well. The CatHomepage New Tab features a single search bar powered by MyWay.com and users will be transferred to Int.search.myway.com when they type keywords into the bar. Users may be lead to believe that Google enhances the CatHomepage New Tab, but that is not entirely accurate. Enhancements by Google are provided in the form of facilitating ad revenue via AdWords. The search results on Int.search.myway.com may not be safe to browse since they are not filtered by Google Safebrowsing and similar Web filtering services.
Experts perceive the CatHomepage by MyWay add-on as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that you may not like to install. Sure, the CatHomepage New Tab has some beautiful wallpapers, but you don't need to install the add-on to access them. You can use the direct link provided in the text above and keep using your default search provider. Computer users can remove the CatHomepage add-on by navigating to the Add-ons Manager, but tracking cookies that are left from visiting Int.search.myway.com may not be deleted as well. Additionally, the executable for the CatHomepage by MyWay add-on is flagged as PUA/MyWebSearch.Gen, Win32/Toolbar.MyWebSearch.BA, PUP.Optional.MindSpark and PUP.MindSpark/Variant by many security scanners. You can employ the services of a trusted anti-spyware instrument to clean all traces of the CatHomepage securely.
