PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts is a potentially unwanted application, which may modify browser settings on the web browser. PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts may replace the default homepage or search engine with a suspicious commercial website, or change the default tab of the web browser any time the PC user attempts to open a blank page, with the tricky advertisement website. PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts may be related to an adware, install browser extensions or have other uncertain purposes. PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts is not a malware infection, but it may carry a variety of destructive traits. PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts may use tricky techniques to possibly raise traffic of the commercial website and generate revenue from click fraud. PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts may access the PC bundled with freeware and shareware applications. PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts may also be bundled within the custom installer on many dubious download websites, so if the computer user has downloaded a certain application from these dubious download websites, he might have also installed PUP.SevereWeatherAlerts throughout the setup process of the certain application.
