There was little information to share at the time, with people close to the problem refusing to comment or not responding to inquiries. According to a source for the publication, the company is working 18 hour shifts, but not sharing details.

MIP shared news with their customers that the process of bringing the servers back online is underway. They're restoring access to the software and plan on providing more details as the work continues.

The company is hoping to provide users with access to their data, up to date as far as March 24, according to its communication with customers. MIP Share may not be available right away, or any third party integrations, according to MIP.

On March 27, customers were warned that MIP and Community Brands were working with an external partner in cyber forensics. They were also told the company is in the recovery phase, telling customers there was no evidence their data was exposed online. Customers were given a statement that the company was going through a process of scanning data, setting up new environments and working on identifying the people affected and retrieving their data from backups.

The first to get back online are set to be those who weren't impacted by the attack, MIP said. The affected users are being set up with a new, single tenant cloud with their most recent backup.
