Desktop Defender 2010 uses devious methods to extort money from computer users. This process is usually carried out by Desktop Defender 2010 displaying fake popup messages and conducting system scans that return falsified parasite results.

All actions performed by Desktop Defender 2010 are done in an effort to get computer users to purchase the full version of Desktop Defender 2010.
