Cerber RansomwareThe Cerber Ransomware is a ransomware infection that is used to encrypt the victims' files. The Cerber Ransomware adds the extension CERBER to every file that the Cerber Ransomware encrypts. After the Cerber Ransomware has encrypted some of the files of the victim, the Cerber Ransomware demands the payment of a ransom in exchange for the decryption key. Read more |
Trojan.TrickBotTrojan.TrickBot, a banking Trojan, seems to be a successor of Dyre, a well-known banking Trojan that was already responsible for numerous attacks around the world. There is certainly a connection between both Trojans. These threats evolve constantly, gaining new features as they defend against new security measures implemented by PC security researchers. Trojan.AndromedaLike most backdoor Trojans, Andromeda is a multi-component malware threat designed to cause major issues on an infected computer. However, although Andromeda's primary purpose is to open a back door on the victim's computer system where remote attackers can gain access, this malware infection also has spyware capabilities, the ability to get into to an alien server and to download and set up other malware. Trojan.BitcoinminerTrojan.Bitcoinminer is one of the detection names that have been associated with an executable file named 'indexer.exe' that is used to mine BitCoins and FeatherCoins. Trojan.Bitcoinminer will be installed in a hidden directory in the AppData directory on the infected computer. Read more |
