조치의 일환으로 Ccza는 침해된 시스템에 대한 기타 침입 변경을 수행합니다. 위협 요소는 암호화된 파일 이름에 '.ccza'를 새 확장자로 추가합니다. 또한 일반적으로 장치의 바탕 화면에 '_readme.txt'라는 텍스트 파일이 생성됩니다. 파일 내에서 피해자는 공격자의 지침을 자세히 설명하는 몸값 메모를 찾을 수 있습니다.

몸값을 요구하는 위협 메시지에 따르면 영향을 받는 사용자는 위협 행위자에게 총 980달러를 지불해야 합니다. 그 대가로 사이버 범죄자는 암호 해독 도구와 필요한 암호 해독 키를 되돌려 보내겠다고 '약속'합니다. 그러나 피해자가 72시간 이내에 연락을 취하면 몸값의 초기 크기가 50% 감소한 490달러로 추정됩니다. 메모에는 해커에게 연락할 수 있는 방법으로 'support@bestyourmail.ch' 및 'datarestorehelp@airmail.cc'라는 두 개의 이메일 주소가 남습니다. 랜섬웨어의 영향을 받는 사람은 사이버 범죄자와 통신을 시도할 때 불필요한 보안 또는 개인 정보 위험에 노출될 수 있으므로 주의해야 합니다.
