Quick Start, otherwise known as Quick Start New Tab, is adware/a PUP (potentially unwanted program) that may occur on a PC as an additional application bundled with free tools, or it may install itself on a computer without a PC user's authorization. After installation, Quick Start may create and display intrusive pop-up ads and alerts while the computer user is surfing on the Internet. Quick Start may compromise a Web browser and make alterations on it. Quick Start may substitute the default start page, search provider or a new tab window with as associated website. Quick Start may repeatedly redirect PC users to unsafe websites that were likely designed for marketing intentions that is to generate advertising income from raised traffic of a sponsored website. Quick Start may also strive to benefit from clicks on advertisements.
