EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Security researchers report that the MG Suggestor application by MGShareware is a modified version of the Savvy Suggestor application by Think Tank Labs LLC. The MG Suggestor search assistant inherits the functionality of its predecessor and shows contextual based advertisements loaded in banners, pop-up windows and in-text hyperlinks to sponsored content. The users are notified of the operations performed by the MG Suggestor in the 'Terms of Service' agreement, but few bother to read it. Security researchers note that the MG Suggestor search assistant can be noticed listed under the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' option of freeware installers and can insert a registry key in Windows to boot at start-up. Additionally, the MG Suggestor application can read your browsing and download history, bookmarks and the metadata of web pages you visit in order to generate custom-made ads. One of the core functions of MG Suggestor is to generate pay-per-click revenue for its developers, and it may decrease your browser performance. Therefore, the MG Suggestor app is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware capabilities. The MG Suggestor browser assistant may not enhance your searches, and its advertisements may convince users to remove it by using a reliable anti-spyware instrument.
