The MaxDownload executable can be found under different publishers such as Bershnet LLC, Fried Cookie Ltd., and Smart Secure Software S.l. as a software distribution portal for easy access to free programs. The way the MaxDownload program is advertised it may be a valuable addition to your software collection, but it is deemed as adware. The MaxDownload program does not have an official website and can be obtained from free software packages only. That should be the first red flag for users to avoid installing it, but users that prefer the 'Express' or 'Typical' option may install it automatically. Additionally, the MaxDownload adware will place all of its files in the hidden Temp folder to evade early security scans and may add a task in the Windows Task Scheduler to enable its automated updates without your notice. The MaxDownload adware may download and install programs like Open Downloader Manager and PC Registry Shield without your consent. The apps mentioned before may decrease your computer performance and bring up misleading alerts. Also, the MaxDownload adware might load pop-up windows and banners in your Web browser to earn pay-per-click revenue for its creators. The MaxDownload adware may use tracking cookies, DOM storage data and read the metadata of pages you visit to facilitate the display of customized marketing materials. The advertisers backing-up the MaxDownload program may use it to show discounts, special offers and coupons on your browser surface and obstruct your Internet activities. Responsible computer users that like free programs should not install the MaxDownload adware and explore the 'Custom' or Advanced' option of program installers. You may want to install a renowned anti-malware utility to eradicate the MaxDownload adware safely.
