The InstallFaster application that is published by Sail Machine is promoted on Installfaster.com as a download manager. The Installfaster download manager is promoted as capable of featuring an optimizing the engine that enhances the Internet speed of users that have Broadband, DSL, Dial-up, and Mobile connection to the Internet. It is understandable that users might want to install the InstallFaster application to enjoy faster downloads, but it is an adware that may not boost your Internet speed and may cover your browser surface with advertisements. The InstallFaster adware comes from the same team behind the CouponUnity software and may exhibit similar behavior.
The InstallFaster application may edit the layout of your new tab page and change your default search provider to iBryte.com that is associated with a browser hijacker. The InstallFaster adware may provide Web surfers with links to useful tools like Virustotal.com, Online-convert.com and Pdf2docx.com, but its primary function is to show advertisements and generate affiliate marketing revenue for its developers. Also, the InstallFaster adware may use pop-under windows to welcome users to install third-party apps like Inbox Toolbar and RetroGamer that have a bad reputation.
