The FantasticDiscounts plug-in is promoted as an online shopping helper that can deliver the lowest prices possible to its users along with exclusive offers. The FantasticDiscounts software can be found on FantasticDiscounts.net and may be installed with via freeware packages. Also, its site does not mention its publishers and developers, and that should raise red flags for users. Security researchers classify the FantasticDiscounts plug-in as adware because it is found to show an abundance of coupons, discounts limited-time deals, pop-up and pop-under windows as well as use tracking cookies. Moreover, the FantasticDiscounts adware might install third-party software related to Bit-Search and CoolWebSearch that are associated with browser hijackers. The marketing content made available by FantasticDiscounts should not be trusted because users may be redirected to untrusted online stores and be welcomed to install applications like YellowSend and Zula Games. The FantasticDiscounts adware-powered plug-in may use JavaScript to insert sponsored advertisements on your favorite web pages and substitute the native ads on Amazon and eBay with offers from partners. The FantasticDiscounts adware may slow down your browser and could be perceived as a vulnerability because it is not digitally signed and may connect to the Internet over insecure channels.
