Etype is an adware program that enters the victimized PC without the affected computer user's consent and knowledge. Etype results in a number of various computer problems on the infected machine. To access the targeted computer, Etype searches for the available system vulnerabilities on the corrupted PC. Etype can hijack almost any web browser including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Etype can log the affected PC user's keyboard activity, change system settings, take snapshots of the screen and redirect victims to misleading websites. Etype stealthily installs itself on the affected computer system and is very difficult to detect and remove from the PC. Etype can violate your privacy and slow down PC performance. Etype may download and install other malware infections on the targeted computer. The main purpose of Etype is to redirect all search results to search.etype.com. At first sight, Search.etype.com may seem to be a genuine and trustworthy search engine. However, in truth, search.etype.com is not able to provide PC users with safe search results. Etype can open the backdoor on the affected computer for other malware threats to access the PC. Etype changes the homepage, add some unknown websites to a bookmarks list, displays numerous pop-up ads on the screen restricting you from normal Internet surfing.
