The DownloaderPlus application from SambaMedia S.L is promoted on DownloaderPlus.com as the most user-friendly download manager for Windows systems that can take care of HTTP, HTTPS, and torrent download tasks. Security researchers alert that the DownloaderPlus is supported by advertisements and exhibits behavior that is similar to LightningDownloader and Fdownloader. The DownloaderPlus application is perceived as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may annoy users with pop-up and pop-under windows as well as promotions and similar deals on Amazon and eBay. The developers of the DownloaderPlus application are behind the FusionPlayer adware, and you may have tracking cookies on your PC that are placed by DownloaderPlus. The DownloaderPlus application is deployed under the GNU General Public License and may arrive on your machine incorporated with a third-party program setup file.
