EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:

DealXplorer Ads is browser plug-in and a relatively minor threat that is classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) with adware capabilities. The main purpose of DealXplorer Ads is to display ads and warrant clicks from unsuspecting users. This browser add-on is primarily distributed via the all-too-familiar practice of software bundling. The sole fact that DealXplorer Ads propagates through bundles is enough to rouse suspicion in anyone. Being a relatively simple application, DealXplorer Ads is compatible with most modern, Windows-based browsers. Once installed, DealXplorer Ads will immediately start swarming your browser windows with ad banners and pop-ups. These advertisements are for the most part harmless; however, there is a small percentage of them that carry a certain amount of risk. The advertisements generated by DealXplorer Ads may expose your computer to threats and redirect you to infected or outright malicious websites. Clicking on any of the content generated by DealXplorer Ads is not advised. It is best to avoid DealXplorer Ads altogether, as the cons outweigh the almost nonexistent pros by a landslide. If you already have DealXplorer Ads latching to your browser(s), we advise you to remove it, preferably with the assistance of a reputable and up-to-date anti-virus application.
