BrowseBurst is adware that may show discount coupons, deals, sales, offers, pop-up advertisements and sponsored links via a pop-up box on social networking and shopping related websites. The pop-up advertisements and banners of BrowseBurst may be shown as boxes, which may encompass a variety of discount coupons and offers, which, when clicked, may display random pop-up advertisements that may claim to supposedly come to the PC user from BrowseBurst. BrowseBurst may be created specifically to generate advertising revenue from clicks on commercial ads. BrowseBurst may boost web traffic, show pop-up ads and sponsored links within the Web browser, and unwillingly redirect computer users to questionable websites that were designed to possibly make money from raised website traffic. BrowseBurst may embed an unwanted browser extension, plug-in or add-on for the Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome when the PC user installs numerous free software from the Internet that might had packaged into their installation BrowseBurst. When the PC user installs any free applications from unreliable download websites, he may also install BrowseBurst on the computer system.
