BooZaka is an adware threat that may show disturbing pop-up advertisements based on the PC user's browsing activities on the computer system. Upon installation on the PC, BooZaka may add an unwanted browser add-on, plug-in or extension on the Web browser. If BooZaka pop-up advertisements are shown on the computer system once the PC user opens a new tab on the Web browser, it means that the PC may be affected by adware, particularly, BooZaka or a PUP (potentially unwanted program). BooZaka may deliver random pop-up ads and messages on the PC, or the ones pertaining to the PC user's Internet surfing routine in the form of underlined words and text boxes no matter which Web browser is used. BooZaka may be installed onto Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and other popular Web browsers. BooZaka may be installed when downloading freeware from the Internet without the PC user's approval.
