Adware.RebateRobot is an adware threat which, once installed on the computer, may insert an unwanted plug-in, add-on or browser extension. Adware.RebateRobot may surreptitiously access and integrate itself into the computer system without the PC user's consent, or it may be installed as an extra program to free applications. Adware.RebateRobot may make changes to the custom system and Web browser parameters that may later lead to numerous PC problems. Computer users may download free software from a variety of questionable download websites that may add Adware.RebateRobot as its toolbar, plug-in, add-on or browser extension into the program installation package. Adware.RebateRobot may show disturbing pop-up advertisements and messages that may encompass sponsored links taking PC users to multiple unknown websites that may offer computer users various sales, discount coupons, deals and offers for online services and products.
