Adware.Applon is adware that may claim to give computer users various offers and deals online while they are visiting shopping-related websites so that they can save money and time. Adware.Applon may install itself onto a computer system without a PC user's approval. When Adware.Applon enters the PC, it may modify the custom system settings and drop related components on all Web browsers installed on the computer system. When the PC user starts using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or other major Web browsers, Adware.Applon may start displaying non-stop pop-up ads and messages. Adware.Applon may also lead to constant diversions to suspicious websites that were made to possibly gain benefit from clicks on commercial advertisements and increased traffic of a questionable website. Once installed on the PC and loaded, Adware.Applon may add an unwanted plug-in, browser extension or add-on on all installed Web browsers and also change the default homepage and search engine or a new tab page with an unknown website.
