The ADSkip program (you may see it labeled as AdSkip too) is a stand-alone alternative to extensions like Privacy Badger, AdBlock Plus, Ghostery and Wise Ads Block. The ADSkip program does not integrate with the Web browser. Instead, ADSkip injects code directly into the rendering engine of your Internet client before the page is displayed on your screen. The ADSkip program may allow users to benefit from HTML code filtering, in-app ad-blocking and provide 24/7 support. You can download the main executable of ADSkip at Adskiper.com, and you may see it incorporated with third-party freeware installers on the Web. The ADSkip program is published under the GNU Freeware license and users are not required to subscribe to a monthly fee. However, the ADSkip program is supported by several ad networks, and you may see ads that are approved by the developers of ADSkip. The creators of the ADSkip app appear to follow the same trend that is set by Yellow Adblocker and PineApple AdBlocker.

Security investigators alert that the ADSkip program is still in development and does not feature a SSL encryption. Web surfers that use the services provided by Google Inc. and Bing.com may be locked out of their accounts because the ADSkip program is not recognized as a legitimate service provider. Programs like ADSkip that inject code into your browser may be blacklisted by most email providers and online banking portals. Therefore, the ADSkip app is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may not benefit your overall Internet experience. Moreover, the ADSkip program may block the native ads on video sharing platforms like YouTube and Vimeo, and you may have to turn off ADSkip to load protected content. Many users may not be satisfied with the current state of the ADSkip program and wish to remove it. You can use an anti-spyware instrument to uninstall the ADSkip software without any danger to your browser engine and passwords.
