'THE TABLET DRIVER WAS NOT FOUND' Error

Tablets have become a permanent fixture in the daily lives of tens of millions of people around the world. Their set of features positions them in the middle ground between a full computer system and the sometimes limiting dimensions of a phone. Understandably, it is quite frustrating when you are trying to transfer an important piece of data from your tablet but instead an error message stating 'THE TABLET DRIVER WAS NOT FOUND' crops up. To fix the issue user might need to reinstall the drivers for their particular table model.

The first step is to open Device Manager. One of the easiest ways to do so is to simply type device manager in the search box on the Taskbar and then click on the top result. One inside the Device Manager window, expand the 'Human Interface Devices' section by clicking on the node icon in front of it. Locate the entry for your table and right-click it. From the available options select 'Uninstall device.' Restart the computer and Windows should automatically reinstall the tablet drivers. If for some reason the driver is still missing, open Device Manager once more but this time click on the computer name atop the list and select 'Scan for hardware changes.'

You can also try to install a new version of the tablet drivers if such are available. You can either download them manually or let Windows try to find them automatically. For the second option, open Device Manager and expand the 'Human Interface Devices' section again. Right-click your tablet and select 'Update driver.' You will be presented with two choices - allow Windows to search for the driver automatically or navigate your computer and select a previously downloaded driver package. Pick the one that suits your preferences and restart the computer after the driver has been installed.
