How to Uninstall ZipCloud

ZipCloud is an application that allows users to store various files such as documents, videos, pictures, etc online. The application also offers automated backups and synchronization options through its cloud storage service. Certain features of the application, however, such as the generated advertisements may lead some users to no longer wish to have the application installed. Fortunately, it is relatively easy to remove the ZipCloud application.

On Mac systems, the first step is to open your 'Applications' folder through Finder. Then locate the ZipCloud icon and drag it to the Trash manually. Alternatively, you can right-click it and select 'Move to Trash.' Do not forget to empty the Trash afterward. Some residual files can still be lingering around, though, and users may have to search and remove them manually. Launch the Finder application. Select 'Go' and followed by 'Go to Folder.' Type in /Library and open the location. Check the following subfolders for files associated with ZipCloud. Delete any that you find:

~/Library/Application Support/…
~/Library/Caches/…
~/Library/Logs/…
~/Library/LaunchAgents/…
~/Library/Saved Application State/…

For Windows users, one method to get rid of ZipCloud is to type control panel in the search box on the taskbar. Open the top result. Click on 'Uninstall a program' located below 'Programs' or go to 'Programs' and then 'Programs and Features.' Locate the ZipCloud application in the list of installed programs. Right-click it and choose 'Uninstall.'
