How to Uninstall Battle.net

Battle.net is the dedicated platform for games released by Blizzard, Inc., and Activision, such as Hearthstone, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty: Warzone and more. Users who no longer wish to have the client installed on their computers can get rid of it in just a few simple steps.

On Mac systems, first shut down Battle.net completely. Open Finder from the Dock and go to your Applications folder. Locate the entry for Battle.net and move it to the Trash. Some residual files, however, may have to be deleted manually. To check for such leftovers, open Finder once more and then press and hold the Option key on your keyboard. Open the Library folder. Once inside, go to the following locations and delete the Battle.net associated files:

To complete the uninstallation process, empty the Trash.

Windows users can treat Battle.net as any other application and get rid of it in the usual method. Type control panel in the search box on the taskbar. Open the top result. Open 'Uninstall a program' or click on 'Programs' and then 'Programs and Features.' From the list of installed applications, find Battle.net, right-click it, and select 'Uninstall.' If you cannot find an entry labeled Battle.net, try looking for Blizzard Battle.net desktop application.
