How To Sync Contacts from an iPhone to a Mac

Using iCloud

One of the easiest methods to sync contacts between an iPhone and a Mac is via iCloud. If you enable iCloud, it will ensure that your contacts are always kept up-to-date between your numerous devices. It will not matter if you remove contacts on the iPhone or add new ones on the Mac, the address book will be synced and updated automatically. For iCloud to function properly, you must first log in using the same account on both devices.

1. On the iPhone, open 'Settings.'
2. Tap on your name and go to 'iCloud.'

Using AirDrop

Transfer contacts via USB cable

If you do not have a stable Internet connection and Bluetooth is not working, one available option is to sync the two devices via a USB cable. 

1. Connect the iPhone and Mac with the USB cable.
2. Open iTunes on the Mac.
3. In the upper-left corner, click on the iPhone icon.
4. Select 'Info' from the options available in the sidebar.
5. Find 'Sync Contacts' and check the related box.
