WiniShield is a rogue security application that is part of the FakeSmoke family. Through many aggressive and misleading tactics, WiniShield attempts to force computer users into purchasing a full version of WiniShield. The Trojan called Zlob may be responsible for installing the WiniShield application without permission from the computer user.
Bogus warning and security messages and system scans are all part of WiniShield's game to drive computer users to purchase the program. Because WiniShield may be able to load at startup of Windows, it is advised to utilize a reliable removal tool that is able to detect and completely remove WiniShield from the infected system.
