Windows Guardian 2010
Windows Guardian 2010 is a fake anti-spyware program descending from the same family as XP Guardian and XP Antispyware 2010. Windows Guardian 2010 is installed into users machines by stealthy Trojans or it can be downloaded from malicious websites. On installation Windows Guardian 2010 will conduct a fake system scan that will detect a number of harmless file as harmful computer threats. Windows Guardian 2010 will also generate fake security alerts and annoying pop-ups, followed by a recommendation to purchase its "full version" in order to remove all the "detected" threats. Windows Guardian 2010 is not to be trusted; it should be removed with a reliable security tool upon detection.
