Win Antispyware Center is a fake anti-spyware application from the same rogueware family as XP Internet Security 2010. Win Antispyware Center is distributed by Trojans. Once it is installed, Win Antispyware Center will create a start-up registry entry and block any security applications running on the compromised machine. Then Win Antispyware Center will launch a fake system scan that will report the detection of various types of malware that can only be removed with the paid version of Win Antispyware Center. This is a scam; Win Antispyware Center is a useless application that should never be purchased.
