The Win32.Viking.JJ malware is a Trojan-Dropper that is similar to W32.Looked.P and is designed to terminate AV defenses and download threats on the compromised computer. The Win32.Viking.JJ malware serves a specific purpose that is to comprise a computer system and spread other threats to connected devices and networks. The Win32.Viking.JJ Trojan-Dropper may be used by its handlers to install Remote Access Trojans like Ratenjay and BlackShades that may allow third parties to extract data and run code on infected computers.
Security researchers reveal that the Win32.Viking.JJ malware is using runtime DLLs to execute its operations and may inject code into other processes. The Win32.Viking.JJ Trojan-Dropper may use hooks to take advantage of vulnerabilities in your Internet browser and download threatening binary on your PC uninterrupted.
