W32.Widoom
W32.Widoom is a malicious worm that uses removable drives to proliferate and opens a back door on the affected machine by connecting to the specific website. When executed, W32.Widoom replicates itself by adding a malicious file. W32.Widoom also modifies the Windows Registry so that it can initiate whenever you start your computer. W32.Widoom creates the specific mutex named 'tbYfOPSWsbgXvrx' so that only one instance of the malware threat runs on the computer system. W32.Widoom connects to an IRC server and awaits for commands that permit it to fulfill harmful activities that involve downloading and executing remote files, updating itself and sending client status (computer name, locale info, Windows version).
