The VSnapshotTool, a.k.a. VScreenshotTool is a program by ShenZhen Xintong Technology Co,.Ltd that is promoted to avid PC gamers who want to save images of their best moments. The VSnapshotTool software from ShenZhen Xintong Techology Co,.Ltd is identified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The VSnapshotTool app is an ad-supported program for Windows that may show pop-up windows and redirect the user to promotional materials via rtp.vscreenshot.com. Computer security researchers note that the VSnapshotTool app may cause browser redirects and welcome users to install a trialware. The VSnapshotTool tool may not be superior to the native instrument on Windows that is the Snipping Tool. Both apps appear to offers almost identical functionality, but the interface of VSnapshotTool may be more to your liking.
However, the VSnapshotTool app may use information like your Internet history to generate tailor-suited ads. The VSnapshotTool service may run in the background and load notifications in the bottom right corner of your desktop from time to time. The program is known to use a process called 'vSnapshotServ.exe' to send data to an ad-server and use different ports with every outbound connection. It may be a good idea to remove VSnapshotTool and switch to another app that does not show as many advertisements as VSnapshotTool does.
