The Tune Fanatic program offers to keep you updated with the latest songs, videos and music reviews but you might want to know that it is perceived by security experts as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware functionality. Having the Tune Fanatic app on your PC may cause the appearance of many pop-up ads, banners and ad boxes in your Internet client. Also, the Tune Fanatic adware is known to accompany freeware bundles, and you may automatically install it via the 'Express' or 'Typical' option. The Tune Fanatic software may add a browser extension, an add-on and a Browser Helper Object to your browser in order to perform its operations. Also, the Tune Fanatic tool may take advantage of its browser integration and read your bookmarks and browsing history as a way of generating tailor-suited ads. You might want to remember that ads by adware may not feature safe content, and you may be directed to malicious websites. Users may wish to use a credible anti-spyware utility to remove the Tune Fanatic software from their OS and halt ads by Tune Fanatic.
