TrojanSpy:Win32/Bhoban.E is a Trojan that is used to generate dangerous Browser Helper Objects (BHOs) on the compromised PC. TrojanSpy:Win32/Bhoban.E may be distributed and executed by other malware infections. While being activated, TrojanSpy:Win32/Bhoban.E installs the target BHO in Internet Explorer by adding an entry under the registry key. TrojanSpy:Win32/Bhoban.E also alters the victimized PC's setting to always enable BHOs, even if they have earlier been disabled or turned off by hooking the RegOpenKeyExW Windows API to regularly register BHO components.
