Trojan.Injector.ST is a very harmful parasite that may enter unnoticed and monitor the actions of its victim. This threat has been developed to collect valuable information. The data that it may intercept and transmit may consist both of files on the hard disk and online credentials. The cyber threats that try to obtain information from the victim are especially threatening. Even if you delete them, if they have already transferred your passwords to the culprits, the consequences may be severe. For this reason, you should make everything possible not to allow Trojan.Injector.ST to sneak into your PC in the first place. Despite the fact that this threat is pretty elaborate, there is no evidence that it relies on some unique distribution tactics. It may infect your machine if you open email attachments from unknown senders or download any software from sources outside of official platforms.
Trojan.Injector.ST may make a few changes to the PC as soon as it gets access with the only purpose to remain unnoticed. It may disable some conventional security products that don't have it in their databases. Trojan.Injector.ST also may block essential Windows processes like the auto-update module. This cyber threat creates registry entries that allow it to launch at system startup, at the same time making its removal a difficult task. When the preparatory phase is complete, the threat may create backdoors. It may link the PC to some machines used for the attack, which are called 'Command and Control' servers. With their help, the hackers may be able to collect data from your machine. Since these servers allow the transfer of information to go both ways, the culprits also may load supplementary threats for more specialized operations. To protect yourself from this danger, you should possess a powerful anti-malware application with a real-time shield.
