System Tool or SystemTool is a fake anti-spyware application that is spread by Trojans. To prevent its manual removal, System Tool will block victims’ access to Task Manager, the Registry Editor and the Control Panel. Then System Tool will display fake online scanners, security alerts and pop-up warnings. These are displayed to convince victims that their machines are infected before prompting them to pay for the supposed full version of System Tool.
