SysDefence Image
SysDefence is a misleading anti-spyware application from the notorious FakeSmoke family. SysDefence is spread by stealthy Trojans that modify the registry, ensuring that SysDefence is executed every time Windows is started. Once executed, SysDefence will conduct a fake system scan and display frequent pop-ups and security warning messages in order to convince users that they need to purchase the full version of SysDefence to remove all the detected malware. All scan results and notifications displayed by SysDefence are fake and should be ignored. SysDefence is a useless application that can be removed with a legitimate security tool.
