Swift Browse is an adware that may show unwanted random adverts on the PC when the web user is visiting social networking and shopping related websites. The pop-up adverts shown by Swift Browse may provide web users with numerous deals, offers and discounts. If the PC user clicks on any pop-up adverts, Swift Browse may divert him to unknown advertisement websites designed by cybercrooks to possibly make a profit from click fraud and raised web traffic. Swift Browse may be added to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome while the PC user is installing other freeware and shareware applications, such as free video players, PDF creator, and similar software products. Once installed on the PC, Swift Browse may alter browser settings and replace the default homepage and search provider with a particular commercial website. When the PC user strives to search for anything online in any legal search engine, he may find the toolbar of Swift Browse added into the web browser that may display various pop-up adverts and sponsored links linked to the search results of the computer user.
