Spyware Cleaner 2010 is a rogue anti-spyware application. Spyware Cleaner 2010 uses scare tactics to coerce users into purchasing its non-existent “full version”. Once inside a PC, Spyware Cleaner 2010 will simulate a fake system scan that will report that the system is severely infected with malware. Additionally, Spyware Cleaner 2010 will display alarming security alerts and pop-ups that will prompt the user to purchase its “full version”. Spyware Cleaner 2010 is not legitimate therefore it cannot detect or remove any real computer threats.
