Sirefef.Y

Sirefef.Y, also known as Trojan:Win32/Sirefef.Y and Trojan:Win64/Sirefef.Y, plays a trick with the victims' PCs secured by an insecure security applications such as Security Shield 2012 and similar to it. During Windows session, Sirefef.Y surreptitiously eliminates or blocks the actual anti-spyware program. However, elimination is activated only once you start a new system session. After the following restart, the affected machine is not defended any more. Installing the removed security tool would only create the same reply of Sirefef.Y, unless the defense is of a proper quality, that is, can find and delete Sirefef.Y without missing to identify a single instance of the Trojan infection.
