RocketTab is the Kind of Rocket that Never Should Be on Your Space
Malware researchers consider that RocketTab is potentially threatening to computers because of the following issues that may be linked to this low quality program:
- RocketTab takes over the computer user's Web browser. Because of this, malware researchers categorize RocketTab as a browser hijacker. Essentially, RocketTab forces the affected Web browser to visit certain websites repeatedly. RocketTab redirects are used to promote these websites, raising their traffic numbers and page ranking.
- RocketTab is designed to expose computer users to advertising content. RocketTab may cause numerous pop-up advertisements and suspicious pop-up messages on the affected Web browser. These pop-up advertisements may interrupt the computer users' activities, seriously disrupting the affected Web browser. RocketTab may add unwanted advertisement content to legitimate websites. For example, RocketTab may add banner and sliding advertisements to websites that the computer user visits. RocketTab has also been associated with in-text marketing links.
- RocketTab may cause system performance issues due to the fact that RocketTab may consume system resources and bandwidth. RocketTab may cause the affected Web browser to freeze or crash frequently.
