RapidSearcher

RapidSearcher is a browser hijacker, also known as the RapidSearcher Virus, which is also categorized as adware/a potentially unwanted application. RapidSearcher may take over all the Web browsers and make modifications to the default settings. After installation, RapidSearcher may substitute the default start page and search provider or a new tab window with Rapid-searcher.com. RapidSearcher may also change the hijacked search results in any popular search provider with affiliated links unwillingly rerouting PC users to Rapid-searcher.com. RapidSearcher may propagate and install itself on the PC without the computer user's approval through packed free programs. RapidSearcher may display disturbing pop-up advertisements on Rapid-searcher.com or other similar websites produced to probably make a profit from increased traffic of the website and ad clicks.
