PUP.NetData is a potentially unwanted program (PUP), which may be downloaded from the Internet when a PC user downloads free software products. PUP.NetData may cause numerous PC problems when it is downloaded and installed on the machine. The computer user may agree to download PUP.NetData when he is downloading other free applications, or he may download PUP.NetData inadvertently by being not enough attentive to the installation process. When the PC user downloads any program from the Internet and does not read the download agreement, he may not understand what other potentially unwanted programs may come packaged with the particular program he is downloading. When downloaded and installed, PUP.NetData may launch numerous background processes that slow the PC. PUP.NetData may display various annoying pop-up ads on the screen of the PC. PUP.NetData may hack the web browser and lead to unwanted redirects to commercial websites.
