PUP.4Squared

PUP.4Squared is a potentially unwanted program that may come packaged with freeware and shareware applications that some websites will ask to download before the computer user can continue on desired website. Installing freeware or shareware application also loads the adware program on the corrupted PC. Commonly, PUP.4Squared is associated with a 4shared Downloader program, which is a simple browser add-on that 4shared users are using to easily access and download files. PUP.4Squared may be installed on the affected PC without the computer user's consent and awareness.
