Online security is essential for active web surfers, and you want to use the OptiShopper app. However, you might wish to know that ProtectedIO rely on extensive advertising campaign to support its operations. The ProtectedIO software is perceived by security researchers as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may add unwanted Browser Helper Object, an add-on and a browser extension to your web browser. The code added by ProtectedIO to your web browser may require more system resources for proper execution, and you may not feel comfortable with that. Additionally, the OptiShopper app may use its browser integration to generate numerous pop-up ads, banners and in-text hyperlinks to sponsors. The ad-supported nature of ProtectedIO may require from you to tolerate many ads, and many computer users may not welcome that.
